Our worship
service is at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. Folks who are able often
linger a little longer in casual conversation over coffee or lemonade
after the worship service.
Our world is a
busy place with little opportunity for folks to reflect upon what
life is all about. There is much in our lives that excites us and
pleases us. There are also things that disturb and trouble us. Church
is a place where we can reflect upon life, celebrate the good things,
ponder the challenging things, and seek the spiritual resources to
cope with the troubling and difficult things. Worship is an
opportunity for us to gather with others who understand our search
and can encourage us. It is an opportunity for us to open our hearts
and minds to the Spirit of God.

There is no such thing as a
typical United Church style of worship.
At Harmony we seek a blend of the
traditional and the contemporary, the formal and the less formal; -
while seeking to lean more toward the contemporary and the less formal.
We sing hymns and songs. We
listen to readings from the Bible. We reflect upon these readings. We
pray to God, - giving thanks, seeking insight for our living,
remembering others, and yearning for the well-being of this world
that is our home. We consider ways of being an influence for good.
People of all backgrounds, ages,
and stages of living are invited to come and to share with us in our
joint journey of discovery and growth.
