Harmony United Church Women (UCW) meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 12:30 pm (September – June).  The meeting includes lunch and shared friendship in the Sanctuary.  We enjoy worship time and a business meeting that includes discussion and planning of interesting activities, fundraising events and then ending our meeting with a program of interest.

 

UCW is a great opportunity for women of the congregation to become better acquainted and to support outreach programs in the community.  It is our mission to love God; foster Christian commitment, faithfulness and spirituality; and promote respect and love for all God’s creation.

 

As Christian women of faith, we believe:

• We must nurture others spiritually, reaching out with commitment and devotion to all God's people.

• We must promote truth, justice, peace, caring and sharing, with respect for all in community and the wider world.

• We must love God and others by living generously and giving joyfully.

• We must affirm and strengthen ourselves creatively in study and witness through music, laughter and solitude.

 

We are a busy group of women who enjoy one another’s company and we welcome all women in the church to join us.
